The customer is always right

Editor,

I am not really sure where these people are getting their facts about the amount of money us retail workers make an hour, but I haven't ever made $5.50 an hour the whole time I have worked at Wal-Mart. I have always made more. Yes, we would all like to be making $10 - $15 an hour but that isn't the real world.

People can only find bad things to talk about when it comes to Wal-Mart but we are the top company to donate money. In Polson we have given a lot of money to different causes — Relay for Life, the aquatic center, the skate park, our local fire department and so many more.

But, some of your readers can only find the bad things about Wal-Mart. What a pity. Wal-Mart hasn't ever claimed it was perfect or had done no wrong, but that isn't even in question. All we want is a super Wal-Mart in Polson. No matter if you are for Wal-Mart or against Wal-Mart, please take a few minutes and think about the people in Polson and the surrounding areas that need a super Wal-Mart, because they can't afford to drive to Kalispell or Missoula.

We can all continue to argue about this but for the most part we need to listen to what our customers want and that is a Super Wal-Mart. No matter what, the customer is always right.
