Sale helps bring Shakespeare here

| May 18, 2006 12:00 AM

Editor,

De Veer Designs Fused Glass Jewelry thanks everyone for coming to their jewelry sale at Rod's Harvest Foods in St. Ignatius on May 5. As a result of brisk sales, owner Barbara de Veer was able to donate $413.20 to the St. Ignatius School District in support of the Shakespeare in the Schools program. This pays for over half their fee. What a generous donation.

The play this fall will be "A Comedy of Errors." In addition to viewing the play, children will have the opportunity to participate in several workshops offered by the Shakespearians. This program is made possible through Montana State University and the National Endowment for the Arts. We are very fortunate to be able to be a part of Shakespeare in the Schools and we could never offer this program without grassroots community support.

Thank you again,

Kristie Nerby
