Necklace taken from memorial cross

As a former Ronan resident I was very upset to be informed on the evening of May 25 that a necklace which I had placed on the memorial cross of a deceased friend had been stolen after nearly a year of being undisturbed.

I am told that it mysteriously vanished after a survey stake was put down in the vicinity of the cross.

The cross is located near the Polson Tire Depot; while I have no idea who took it and can only guess, I would greatly appreciate seeing it back on the cross (as would many others) where it rightfully belongs.
