CHARLO — Longtime Mission Valley resident Coralie "Mary" Allison entered eternal peace on Oct. 3, 2006, at Community Medical Center in Missoula from complications of a stroke.

A third-generation Montanan, Coralie was born on Dec. 10, 1931, in Great Falls to William and Flossie Brady. She graduated from Simms High School in 1950 and attended Northern Montana College in Havre.

In 1954, she married Elvin Allison, Jr. in Helena and together they lived in several Montana towns, as well as Oregon and California, before moving to a farm near St. Ignatius in 1966. Coralie retired from farming in 1985, moved to Charlo and was employed by the Charlo-Moiese Senior Center, where she worked until her death.

Coralie was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church; she loved to sew, crochet and craft, creating many beautiful heirlooms as well as being an avid gardener.

Coralie is survived by her son, Michael, and his wife, Becky, and one granddaughter, MacKenzie, all of Juneau, Alaska; and her daughter, Patricia Bristol, and her husband, Robert of Idaho Springs, Colo.

Memories may be sent to St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Charlo or the Charlo-Moiese Senior Center. A memorial service is set for 11 a.m., Friday, Nov. 3, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Charlo.
