Marines' rifle raffle was successful

The Hellroaring Detachment #1041 of the Marine Corps League thanks all the people of Lake County for their support and help in making our annual rifle raffle a great success. The drawing was held on Oct. 21 and the winner is Harry King of Polson.

In addition, there were three more winners — Mel Brown won $75; Jay Fyant won $50 and Lynn Cooper won $25. The proceeds go toward offsetting the expenses of our Detachment as well as adding to our scholarship fund.

The Detachment will be holding the Marine Corps Birthday party at the Polson VFW hall on Nov. 10 and all are invited to attend and help celebrate the 231st birthday of the United States Marine Corps.
