Eldora Hoch

MISSOULA — Eldora Hoch, 74, long-time resident of Wolf Point and former Polson resident, died at Community Medical Center in Missoula, with her family by her side, on Saturday, Nov. 4, 2006, due to complications from Alzheimer's disease.

Eldora was born in Wolf Point on Aug. 2, 1932, to George and Alta Good. She attended Pleasant View School and graduated from Wolf Point High School in 1950. Eldora was employed by M.D.U. and JC Penney's.

In May 1951 she married Elmer Hoch. Eldora enjoyed ceramics, gardening, camping, bowling, and was active in her church. After raising their three children, Elmer and Eldora retired and moved to Polson, and then settled in Missoula.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Melvin Good.

She is survived by her husband, Elmer Hoch of Missoula; son, Loran Hoch of Rapid City, S.D.; daughters, Charlene Dwyer and Cindy Hoch, both of Missoula; three grandchildren, Sheldon Hoch of Rapid City, and Jennifer and Andrea Dwyer of Missoula; sister Alice Doornek, and brothers Lyle Good of Wolf Point and Larry Good of Arizona.

Visitation will be today, Thursday, Nov. 9, beginning at 9 a.m. at Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel, Wolf Point. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. at Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel. Burial be in Greenwood Cemetery.
