Share the Spirit starts ninth year

Share the Spirit Holiday Assistance Program is beginning the ninth year helping children from needy families with toys, clothes and gifts at Christmas. We are fortunate to partner with the Marine Corps Toys for Tots program, which helps us manage the daunting task of providing for these children.

In 2005 we served over 1,200 children in Lake County and we can use your help again this year. Our trees covered with tags filled with children's Christmas requests will go up all over the county around Thanksgiving, so if you see one please take a tag for someone less fortunate and help make their holiday brighter.

Share the Spirit Tree locations are: Port Polson Inn, Lake County Leader offices in Polson and Ronan, Wal-Mart, Hanson and Granley True Value Hardware, Community Banks in Polson and Ronan, Lake County Bank in St. Ignatius, Lake County courthouse, St. Joseph Medical Center, Valley Journal office St. Luke Hospital, and Eagle Bank.

Applications are available at any county office and have been emailed or mailed to every church in Lake County. Share the Spirit is a 501(c) 3 non-profit group registered with the Internal Revenue Service. Donations can be mailed to Share the Spirit at P.O. Box 1341, Polson, MT 59860.
