MDOT is deluged with letters

Editor,

Thank you, for all the responses to my previous letters to the editor. The Montana Department of Transportation was overwhelmed by the public comments for a bike path in our community. They have not finalized any plans, but are re-thinking the proposal to find a way to incorporate a bike/walking path without too great an environmental impact. So, for those of you who wrote and sent in comments, I commend you and thank you.
