Top fundraisers in 2006 Doggy Dash

The Mission Valley Animal Shelter wishes to acknowledge the support of Eunice Maher and her beloved dog, Sky, at the 2006 Doggy Dash. Because of the inclement weather and the abbreviated contests and prizes, Eunice and Sky did not have the opportunity to participate in the contests and prizes.

The different location this year from prior years also added to the confusion and misunderstanding.

However, Eunice and Sky did in fact raise the most amount of money but the event was all but over with by the time they arrived.

We apologize to Eunice and Sky and want them and everyone who supported them to know how much we appreciate their support. Eunice has been one of the top money-raisers for the Doggy Dash almost since its inception in the early 1990s.

Thank you, Eunice and Sky, and we hope you will continue to support our efforts at the Mission Valley Animal Shelter to help all of the dogs and cats in our area that need our help, as well as yours.
