Little Lambs Preschool is 25

| December 20, 2007 12:00 AM

Editor,

Little Lambs Preschool, a ministry of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Ronan, will celebrate 25 years of ministry to small children at the Little Lambs Christmas program Thursday, Dec. 20, at 6:30 p.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church, four blocks east of the Dairy Queen.

The public, and especially all prior students and their families, are invited to attend.

Chartered on Dec. 31, 1982, Little Lambs Preschool has the stated purpose of bringing children to Jesus, and Jesus to children.

Through the years the Preschool has been blessed with wonderful Christian teachers and a highly supportive and active board and congregation.

In 1985 Art and Nel Mangels tragically lost their daughter, Teresa, and responded out of love for Jesus, who had made her His own, by making a large donation to build the present facility.

A plaque in her honor will be dedicated at the Christmas program this year.

During the 25 years of service to the community Little Lambs Preschool has served the needs of approximately 1,500 children and their families, many of whom still live in and around Ronan.

Our current teacher is Teresa Larivee, a wife and mother of two (most recently to Gracie), deeply dedicated to the nurturing of children in the love of Jesus.

The Board of Little Lambs Preschool and the congregation of St. Paul Lutheran Church would like to invite, in particular, former students and their families to attend the Christmas program this year.

Plans are being discussed to extend the ministry of Little Lambs Preschool to include a full time daycare.

The congregation of St. Paul Lutheran Church and the Board of Little Lambs Preschool wish to continue and extend this ministry in a broader sense in the future, and we hope the community will respond positively.

Please join us as we celebrate the coming of Jesus to be our Savior.

Rev. M.J. Nicolaus
