Donna L. Norman
POLSON — Donna L. Norman, 71, of Polson died of natural causes Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2007, at St. Luke Hospital in Ronan.
She was born on June 18, 1935, to Chester and Gladys Knutson Larson in Chicago. After graduating from high school, she attended the University of Illinois and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree. She married Milton (Sandy) E. Norman, Jr. in 1959 at Edgebrook, Ill.
In the late 1950s she worked for Butler Brothers in Chicago, which was a mail order catalog business, and in the ‘60s the San Diego Union Tribune in market research employed her. From 1970 to the 1990s Donna was self-employed in designing and fabrication of horseback riding apparel mostly worn in competition. She loved sewing, animal care, riding horses and crafts.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Chester Larson in 1967 and her mother Gladys in 1986.
Donna is survived by her husband, Milton (Sandy) E. Norman, Jr. of Polson; daughter Kimberly Norman Wright and her husband Robert Wright of Polson, and two grandchildren.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial service may be held at a later date. Arrangements and cremation were under the direction of Grogan Funeral Home and Crematory,
