Lawrence E. (Bevo) Beaver

RENTON — Lawrence E. Beaver (Bevo) died Friday, Dec. 22, in Renton due to a prolonged illness from Alzheimer's.

He was a resident of Missoula and Polson and managed lumber yards in Polson, Great Falls and Helena. He moved to Albuquerque, N.M., in 1969, where he was a New York Life Insurance agent and achieved star club recognition.

He returned to Polson in 1989. He was an avid golfer, skier, and excellent photographer.

He was a wonderful husband, father, friend to all, and will be missed greatly.

He is survived by his wife, Kathryn, and six children, Hu William of Polson, Katherine Harding of Ronan, Joanne Emerson of Ronan, Jeannie Cockran of Bakersfield, Calif.; stepdaughters Connie Lewis of Renton, Wash., and Cathleen Valentine of Kent, Wash.

He is also survived by Robert Beaver of Eads, Tenn., Ray Beaver of Great Falls, Richard Beaver of Florence, Ronnie Beaver of Southport, N.C., Beverly Clendenen of Polson, Charlene Brown of Bakersfield, and Barbara Hoth of Romulus, Mich.
