| January 18, 2007 12:00 AM

Editor,

On behalf of the 2006 Salvation Army Kettle/Bell Ringing Campaign, thank you, Lake County, for your generous support.

A special thank-you goes to the following kettle locations: Polson — Safeway, Super One and Wal-Mart; and Ronan — Harvest Foods.

Other businesses and individuals supporting the campaign this year included First Interstate Bank, Lake County Job Service Work Force Center, Lake County Leader, Valley Journal, Char-Koosta News, Bit-o News/Polson Porthole, Ruthann and Skip Schacher, Flathead Nessie 4-H Club, Flathead Lake Pioneers 4-H Club, Robert Gilbreath and other volunteers devoting their time and energy.

Most of all, I thank the entire bell ringing staff for their commitment, especially in the cold!

By generating over $15,100 in this campaign, kids from Lake County will go to summer camp and additional contributions can help the needs of our neighbors in Lake County.

Sharing is caring — God bless you.
