Margaret Kenyon Burlew

RONAN — Margaret Kenyon Burlew, 98, of Polson and formerly of Charlo died of natural causes on Jan. 10, 2007, at St. Luke Community Hospital.

Mrs. Burlew was born March 23, 1908, in Seattle, the daughter of James and Clara Kenyon. She attended schools in Seattle and graduated from the University of Washington.

She was a founding member and past president of the Handweavers Guild of America and a member of the Charlo Garden Club.

Mrs. Burlew was preceded in death by her husband, E.P. Burlew, in March 1999 and by a grandson, Chip Burlew.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Margaret Burlew of Tarboro, N.C.; a granddaughter, Elizabeth Burlew of Holly Springs, N.C., and one niece and one nephew.
