Ruth Olive Cahoon
POLSON — Ruth Olive Cahoon, 78, of Anaconda, died on Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2007, at St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula.
Ruth was born on Jan. 13, 1928, in Polson, to Alfred Monica Whitehouse. She was longtime employee at JC Penney in Anaconda and a member of the Elks Lodge and Saddle Club in Anaconda. Ruth loved ceramics, crafts, skiing, snowmobiling and was an accomplished bowler. She and her husband Bill were the favorites amongst her nieces and nephews.
Her husband Bill died on March 23, 1986.
She is survived by her brother, Duane (Mildred) Whitehouse of Libby; sisters Vera Wetzel of Phoenix, Ariz., May Granlund of Spokane, Wash., Marie (Bob) Mutchler of Pablo, and numerous nieces, nephews and special friends.
A memorial service was held at the K.T. Riddle Funeral Home in Anaconda on Jan. 13, 2007.
A visitation was held Jan. 14, at the Grogan Funeral Home in Polson and a graveside service was conducted at Lakeview Cemetery, Polson, on Jan. 15.
