Charlo restaurant deserves support
Editor,
On Valentine’s Day my wife and I made a dinner reservation to take our three families consisting of 13 people to the newly refurbished “TAKE 5” restaurant in Charlo.
It was recently featured in the November issue of The Leader concerning new businesses in the county.
My wife and I had begun to patronize this friendly restaurant, and each time we had been favorably impressed by its cleanliness and the prompt service, but more especially pleased with the quality and quantity of the homemade menu items at unbelievable low prices. Such very generous portions served there are uncommon today, but common in this cafe.
Our Valentine’s Day Dinner was no exception. We were delighted to see a menu that satisfied everyone, from grandparents to the youngest. Several of us had to ask for “Doggie Bags.” Not one of our group could have asked for more. Our collective comments were, “Could we have afforded to go home and duplicate such a variety as reasonably?”
The cooks among us declared, “No way.”
This cafe certainly deserves community support. It more than certainly reflects the Charlo community spirit.
