MV summer rec baseball signup set
ST. IGNATIUS — The Mission Valley summer recreation baseball signup for ages 5-15 will be Monday and Tuesday, March 12 and 13 at 6 p.m. in the Tae Kwondo building, south of the Silver Dollar Bar in St. Ignatius.

Donkey ball coming to St. Ignatius
ST. IGNATIUS — Donkey Basketball is coming back to St. Ignatius High School on Friday, March 16, 7 p.m., sponsored by the Mission High School Spanish Club. Team players consist of St. Ignatius High School students, teachers and staff, and local community members.
Advanced tickets may be purchased from Spanish Club members or by calling Marlene Lodge or Terry Cable at St. Ignatius High School at 745-3811. Advance tickets are: Adults, $6; students (grades 7-12), $5; children (K-6), $4. Tickets at the door are a $1 more each. Concessions will be available.
Women’s bowling tourney scheduled

Umpire’s clinic proposed
With baseball and softball seasons about to start, Mark Evertz is seeking people who are interested in attending an umpire’s clinic. It would be put on by two MOA and ASA officials and is open to anyone interested in learning how to umpire in either sport.

Little Dribblers start Tuesday
Ronan Little Dribblers for boys in grades 3-5 will start on Tuesday, March 13. All sessions will be held at KWH elementary from 6:00-7:30 p.m. The dates of the sessions will be March 13, March 15, March 20, March 22, March 27, March 29, and April 3. Sign-up sheets are located at the KWH and Pablo elementary offices. Cost is $10 per student, or $15 total for siblings. SKHA all-star basketball tryouts set
The Salish and Kootenai Housing Authority all-star girls’ and boys’ basketball team tryouts will be held March 18 and 19 beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the Ronan Events Center. Players must have turned in computer applications in order to participate. Applications must be turned in by March 16. The 2007 All-West Native American Basketball Classic will be held April 20-22.
An art contest for the best team logo will be held with a $50 cash prize for the artist submitting the winning design. The entry must include the wording: Salish & Kootenai Housing Authority All-stars 2007.
Participation is limited to youth who are not over the age of 19, who are enrolled in high school or will have completed their senior year in 2007. For full details, contact Michelle Morigeau, 675-4491, ext. 1507 or Nicole Antoine 675-4491, ext. 1530.
Participants need to be enrolled members of an Indian Tribe or have parents who are enrolled.
Ronan round ball classic applications due
The community of Ronan and Ronan Youth Basketball is hosting the 1st annual Ronan round ball classic for 4th-8th grade girls and boys the weekend of April 14-15, 2007.
The format states that pool play is slated for Saturday, April 14, with playoff games on Sunday, April 15.
The tournament features a four-game guarantee with MOA officials calling the games. The entry fee is $150 dollars.
Applications must be received by April 4, and the public is encouraged to contact Karla Moxley at 406-240-1824 or karla.moxley@ronank12.edu to secure a spot in the tournament.
