Grades 4-8 boys, girls basketball event set

RONAN — The community of Ronan and Ronan Youth Basketball is hosting the 1st annual Ronan round ball classic for 4th-8th grade girls and boys the weekend of April 14-15, 2007. The format states that pool play is slated for Saturday, April 14, with playoff games on Sunday, April 15. The tournament features a four-game guarantee with MOA officials calling the games. The entry fee is $150.

Applications must be received by April 4, 2007 and the public is encouraged to contact Karla Moxley at 406-240-1824 or karla.moxley@ronank12.edu to secure a spot in the tournament.

Umpire’s clinic set for March 31

An umpire’s clinic put on by two MOA and ASA officials will be held Saturday, March 31, at 10 a.m. on the Kerr Dam Roads softball fields on Seventh Ave. W., Polson. The clinic is open to anyone interested in learning how to umpire in either baseball or softball.
