A win-win situation
Cyndi Elliott, Polson
I wish to extend a huge thank you for Burton Cannon. I am pleased to read that he is employing Sandra Brixen. It is very encouraging when I hear of a person willing to extend themselves to assist another to fulfill a desire of having a place to be useful. It is really what we all crave and is the same for a person with a disability. I am a pediatric occupational therapist and work with children with disabilities. I also am the big sister of a terrific man who has Down Syndrome. It is often my hope that as my clients grow up they are given an opportunity to use their gifts and skills to contribute somewhere, and of course to have it be fulfilling to them. This is only possible if there are facilities and businesses willing to hire them and that there is a good fit with skill levels. It appears that Cannon and Brixen have a great thing going! I would also like to thank Sandra Brixen for bringing such joy and dedication to Burton Cannon as well as the Ronan Pizza Cafe. Keep up the good work. The article describing your teamwork has brought me joy and you will be seeing me at the Ronan Pizza Cafe.
