Bocksnick, Thelma Ilene

Thelma Ilene Bocksnick, age 81, of Ronan passed away of natural causes on Monday; Oct. 27, 2008 at St. Luke Community Hospital in Ronan.

She was born on Oct. 1, 1927 to Robert and Hattie Hooper in Roberts, Idaho. In 1945, she came to the Mission Valley to keep house for her older brother, Orlo. There she met Emil Bocksnick and they were married on Oct. 17, 1945.

She was preceded in death by her husband Emil, son Michael, her parents and her brothers Justin, Orlo, Craig and Virgil.

She is survived by her brother Marvin Hooper; sons and daughters-in-laws and daughter Steve (Marilyn), Cliff, Neal (Wiletta), and Jim (Diane) Cheryl and Brian (Dawn). Also ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Friends paid their respects on Friday from 4-7 p.m. at the Shrider - Thompson Funeral Service Chapel.

Graveside services were held on Saturday, Nov. 1 in the Ronan Cemetery at 3 p.m.

Shrider-Thompson Funeral and Cremation Services of Ronan is assisting the family with arrangements.
