Letter of appreciation

On behalf of the family of Thomas "Satch" McDonald, we wish to express our most sincere appreciation and gratitude to all of the family and friends who have known, cared for, and loved him through the years.

Special thanks is given to the cooks at the final services, particularly, Monique, Katie, and JaNeal McDonald, Rose Tellier, and Emily McCrea, to Richard Alexander and other members of his clean-up and janitorial crew.

Our most sincere appreciation is given to Terry Tanner, Billy Tanner, Thomas Tanner, Jennifer Shelby, Kevin Howlett, Billy Swaney, and Richard Orton, for all they have done for Satch, particularly in his final days.

Finally, a very special thanks to Octave Finley and the other traditional prayer leaders who conducted the final prayers for Satch. The elders and other prayer leaders, particularly Octave, have provided so much comforting assistance, advice and help, when needed through the years to so many people in troubled times.

We know there are undoubtedly many others to whom we owe a great debt of gratitude for their help and understanding that are not mentioned or known at this time in this letter of appreciation.
