My friend Ron Marquardt is running for the legislature, seeking to represent HD 12. I strongly support him.

We need individuals in the legislature who will seek to restore the role of both the state and federal governments to their constitutional boundaries. We are experiencing the consequences of unlimited and unbridled government spending and infringement on our individual rights of life, liberty and property because too many of our elected officials bend to pressure from tax consumer interests. While these tax consumer groups seem to have an endless appetite for ever more taxpayer money, the net tax payers (the producers), have become the most underrepresented group. They are too busy making a living to spend time lobbying.

Ron has strong convictions regarding the proper function of government as protector of our individual rights. He understands an oath to uphold the US and Montana Constitutions means that legislative votes must be in compliance with that oath. He will not acquiesce to pressure from interest groups. He will not compromise away our rights by playing that most popular game in politics, which is buying votes with the public treasury.
