More babies born

St. Luke Community Hospital recorded the busiest month in its 56 year history during the month of March 2009. One area of growth has been in the number of babies being born at the Ronan hospital. Fifty-three births have been recorded at the New Beginnings Birth Center so far this year which is a 13 percent increase over a year ago. Through April 26, nine more babies were born at St. Luke than during April, 2008. The hospital contributes this increase to several factors, including the one-day birthing clinic that has been held in the new birthing center. The next class is on May 9.

 Jenadei Ray Ellsworth

RONAN — Judasha Lei Ellsworth is proud to announce that her little sister, Jenadei Ray Ellsworth, was born on April 13 at St. Luke Community Hospital in Ronan. She weighed 6 pounds, 5 ounces.

Parents are Jude and Jenalei Ellsworth of Pablo.  Paternal grandparents are Doreen Scott and Alfred Flett of Wellpinit, Wash.;     

great-grandparents are  Susan Wynn and Raymond Scott of Wellpinit, Wash.  Maternal grandparents are Quincy and Mary Weatherwax of the Flathead Reservation; great-grandparents are The late William and Theresa Weatherwax of the Flathead Reservation.

Isabella Marie Allred

RONAN — Isabella Marie Allred was born April 11 at St. Luke Community Hospital in Ronan. She weighed 7 pounds, 1 ounce. Parents are Jacob and Jessica Allred of Polson. Paternal grandparents are Dan and Lorie Allred of Polson; great-grandparents are  Dean and Bonnie Allred of Polson and the late Peggy Shaul (sic). Maternal grandparents are Jeff and Debbie Jones of Polson; great-grandparents are Walt and Winnie Jones of Polson and the late Shirley Tinjum of Polson.

Joshua Ryan Wilson

RONAN — Joshua Ryan Wilson was born April 19 at St. Luke Community Hospital in Ronan. He weighed 7 pounds, 8 ounces. Parents are Daniel Wilson and Krystal Davis of Polson. Paternal grandparents are Kim Saloman of Kodiak, Alaska; great-grandparents are Alice Scholes of Kodiak, Alaska. Maternal grandparents are Sandy Davis of Sitka, Alaska and Terry Kite of Everett, Wash.; great-grandparents are Judy and R.D. Hicks of Charlo.

Oriana Marie Brooks

RONAN — Seth Brooks and Randi Mitchell of Polson are proud to announce the arrival of their first child, Oriana Marie Brooks, who was born on April 16 at St. Luke Community Hospital Ronan. Oriana weighed 7 pounds, 8 ounces and joins cousins Tia, Payton and Makaila. Paternal grandparents are Lyle and Julia Brooks of Polson; Auntie and unclesMissy and Nate Brooks of Polson and Pat Brooks and James Brown of Yakima, Wash. Maternal grandparents are Dennis and Cynthia Mitchell of  Polson. Aunties and uncle Kayleen, Marty and Casey of Polson.

Xavier Hewankorn

POLSON — Xavier Lewis Hewankorn was born on April 17 at St. Joseph Medical Center. He weighed 8 pounds, 12 ounces. Mother is Ashley Hewankorn. Maternal grandparents are Lewis Quequesah of Spokane, Wash. and Geri Hewankorn of Polson. Great-grandmother is Patricia Hewankorn of Dayton.

Ivan Spotted Blanket

POLSON — Lannie Spotted Blanket is proud to announce the arrival of his little brother Ivan Sundown Spotted Blanket, who was born on April 22 at St. Joseph Medical Center. He weighed 7 pounds, 12 ounces. Parents are Jeremiah Spotted Blanket and Willamena Billedeaux. Maternal grandparents are Dwight and Mary Jane Billedeaux of Charlo; great-grandmother is Mary Josephine Quequesah of St. Ignatius. Paternal grandparents are Rena and Joe Barbnaby and the late Lannie Spotted Blanket of St. Ignatius. Great-grandparents are Sonia Cheppipawa of St. Ignatius.
