Gear up for Ninepipes benefit
Hold the date! It’s that time of year again, on Thursday, Jan. 15, Black Tie Dinner time. The Ninepipes Museum of Early Montana is having its annual benefit at the Ninepipes Lodge on U.S. Highway 93 in Charlo. As in the past 12 years, the tickets go fast. We have limited seating so it’s a first come first fun event. Get there early, at 5:30 p.m. for the museum tour. We will be eating around 6:30 p.m. and there will be a silent auction and a live auction. Our guest entertainer will be Rob Quist and some local talent will also greet us.
Please come and meet our board of directors, your neighbors and fellow museum enthusiasts. Bring a friend . . . introduce a neighbor to our impressive collection of historical photography, extensive Native American beadwork and so much more.
We are proud of the museum, and want you to be too. If you have not been to the museum, come and walk through the museum before dinner. Come and have fun with your neighbors and help to keep our museum a vibrant contribution to our valley. With your much needed support, our future will be bright.
Please contact the Lodge to make your reservations at 644-2588.

MME thanks supporters
On behalf of the board of directors, staff and people served Mission Mountain Enterprises Inc. would like to thank some other businesses in the local areas that helped us out over the holidays.
First of all, we would like to thank Burt Cannon from the Pizza Café in Ronan for his hosting the Christmas dinner for the Ronan community and splitting donations received at that event between the Boys and Girls Club and Mission Mountain Enterprises. Burt provided a great meal to the community and at the same time provided some financial support to a couple of local non profits.
We would also like to thank the following businesses for their donations to our annual consumer Christmas Party: Cheers, Cove Deli, Fiesta En Jalisco, Glacier Brewing Company, Harvest Foods, KwaTaqNuk, Lake City Bakery and Eatery, Lucky Strike Lanes, Mission Mart, Polson and Ronan McDonald’s, Pheasant Lounge, Pizza Café, Pizza Hut, Ricciardi’s, Ronan Café, SuperOne Foods, The Driftwood and Wheat Montana.
Through the generosity of these businesses Mission Mountain Enterprises had another very Merry Christmas.
Sincerely,
Brodie Moll, MME CEO
Fugleberg’s column a shining light
This is a quick note to say thanks for Paul Fugleberg’s column, “Among Other Things,” in the Jan. 1 edition of the Leader. Paul’s columns often remind me of the childhood song, “This little light of mine, I’m going to let it shine!” I love how Paul’s little light shines regularly in the Leader. Now I’m looking forward to his book!

Gracious thanks to kind donor
I want to thank the person who paid my vet bill. As you know, my puppy had provo and the cost was extreme. I don’t know who you are, but you know who you are. I can’t thank you enough, but it was a God send. I didn’t know what bills I would have to let go, but you came through and saved me. May God bless you and all you do. This thanks comes from Peanut and I from the bottom of our hearts.
