Bernier-Boan

Brenda and Steve Olsen, currently of Polson, announce the engagement of Brenda’s son Derek Bernier to Ainsley Boan, daughter of David and Andrea Boan of Wheaton, Ill. Derek is the son of Scott Bernier of Providence, RI. Derek graduated from Bozeman High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in music education from the University of Montana in 2006. He is currently Director of Bands at Rocky Mountain High School in Meridian, ID.

Ainsley earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Montana and is completing her master’s degree at Pacific University in the Art of Education program and student teaching in Boise. The wedding is planned for June 28, 2009 in Boise, Idaho.

Merritt-Davis

Roy and Mary Davis announce the engagment of their daughter, Callie Davis, to Michael Merritt, son of Rex and Fern Merritt. Callis is employed by the Columbia Falls School District, and Michael is the assistatnt manager of the meat department at Rosauers. An early summer wedding is planned.
