Deborah J. Thompson
ST. IGNATIUS — Deborah J. Thompson, 59, passed away on April 25 at Community Hospital.
Born in Deadwood, S.D. on March 18, 1950, to Ole Fred and Beverly Thompson, she lived in Montana most of her life living in Livingston, Manhattan, Ennis and Big Timber before moving to St. Ignatius a few years ago.
She was the best mother, grandmother and greatgrandmother one could ask for.
She was a kind hearted woman who was known for taking many people in. And with a most recent bout with cancer she proved that she was a fighter.
She was preceded in death by her friend Shorty Bates and is survived by her father Ole of Belgrade; children Heather Olean of St. Ignatius and Jeff Herman of California; grandchildren Amber, Brandon, Danielle, Jaime and Logan; great-granddaughter Shawna; her siblings Marylin, Bruce, Tom and Dennis as well as many friends, including Bob who loved her.
As per her request no services are planned.
Beverly Doraine Morigeau
Beverly Doraine Morigeau of Dixon passed away at home on April 28 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Hamilton on Sept. 13, 1932, to Warren and Mavis Smith.
On August 5, 1950, Bev married Elmer “Sonny” Morigeau Jr. and together they raised five children of their own and provided a home to numerous others.
Bev was best known for all her leadership activities with youth. These included working for Dixon High and Two Eagle River Schools, Inter-Tribal Youth Practicum, Junior Tribal Council and Summer Youth Employment. Activities she loved included bowling, softball, ice skating, dance skating, roller skating, pow wows, traveling to workshops/conferences and attending all her children’s activities and sporting events.
She is survived by her husband Sonny and children Doug (Cheryl), Jim (Marlene), John (Charlotte) all of Dixon; Vicki Morigeau (David Velarde) of Dulcy, N.M. ; Eileen (Thaddeus) Marion of Great Lakes, Ill.; and Annie Clairmont of Polson. She has 24 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren and a sister Carol (Ken) Williams of Superior.
She is preceded in death by an infant daughter Linda, her parents Warren and Mavis, and a grandchild Elijah Alexander.
Services were held at the Longhouse in St. Ignatius on Saturday, May 2 and burial will follow at the family plot in Dixon.
Zelda Repnak
Zelda Repnak died at home in Polson on April 27 after a valiant battle with cancer. She was born on Feb. 27, 1955, in Havre to Joseph and Beverly Repnak, who preceded her in death. She is survived by her son, Timmothy Ortiz and two grandchildren: Stephen and Baylee Ortiz and her life partner Carl Waddell. She is also survived by her grandmother Zelda (age 98) and two sisters Christine Mantolete and Dena Kelley. Zelda loved animals, especially her dogs. Zelda was a cherished member of her AA family. She will be truly missed by all whose lives she touched with her amazing courage and tenderness of heart. She made us laugh! Zelda requested memorials to Life Savers Animal Rescue, P.O. Ezra James Farmer
PABLO – Ezra James Farmer, born on March 17, 2009, left this world to be with grandfather on April 30.
For the short time he was in this world he brought so much joy to our hearts, he gave us so many loving memories that we will never forget.
He was preceded in death by his uncle Lakota V. Farmer; cousin BJ Gardipe; great-great-grandfather Thomas M. Pablo; Great-great-grandmother Laura Pierce; great-great-grandfather Thomas E. Pierce Sr.; cousin Terje Pablo; great-great-grandfather Bud farmer and great-great-grandmother Ladean Peak.
He left behind his loving mother Lakita R. Farmer; grandmother Theresa D. Pierce; grandfather Rodney Grund; great-grandparents Thomas and Mildred Pierce and Keith and Connie Farmer; aunts Rochelle L. Selfors abd Sierra J. Nafziger; great-great-grandmothers Vida J. Pablo and Virginia Farmer; great-uncle Wade Pierce and great-aunts Anita R. Pierce and Lisa Johnson and many, many cousins.
A wake has begun at the family home in Pablo with graveside services held on Tuesday in the Ronan Cemetery.
Elizabeth A. Wilson
Elizabeth “Betty” A. Wilson, 79, of Polson, passed away at home on Saturday, April 25. She was born on Nov. 22, 1929, in Elizabeth, N.J., daughter of the late William and Miriam Dunlap Howard. In 1958, Betty married Wallace Wilson in Rahway, N.J. Mr. Wilson passed way in 2001. She is also predeceased by a sister, Jean Miller. She is survived by three daughters and their spouses, Janice and David Hummel of Polson; Kathleen and Fernando Mendez of Perth Amboy, N.J.; Eileen and Terrence Lynch of Orlando, Fla.; a son and his wife, William and Anna Wilson of Cranford, N.J.; a sister and her husband, Carol and James Ginfrida of Port Orange, Fla., and a brother and his wife, William and Penny Howard of Punta Gorda, Fla., nine grandchildren, and three great-granddaughters. Jack J. Clay
Jack J. Clay, 64, of Ronan, passed away at his home on Wednesday, April 29 from natural causes. Jack was born on May 19, 1944, in Scobey to Alvin and Ardes Clay.
Jack spent most of his younger years in Seeley Lake. He married Yvonne Day on July 17, 1966, in Hamilton.
He worked construction for Nickelson Paving and for over twenty years as a superintendent with Peter Kiewit Construction. He worked throughout the western United States and Montana. He retired to the Mission valley.
Jack enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, hunting and packing. He especially enjoyed his horses.
He is preceded in death by his father and brother Dick.
He is survived by his wife Yvonne of Ronan; three children: Colette Moore of Missoula, Daun Edens of Missoula and Jason Clay of Polson; four granddaughters: Chasity, Chelsie, Natasha and Jennifer and two grandchildren- Kaci and Mitchell, and his mother Ardes Clay of Kalispell. He is also survived by four sisters: Jody Townsend of Bigfork, Debbie Clay of Kalispell, Donna West of Billings and Carol Nelson of Great Falls and a sister-in-law LaVetta Clay of Mountlake Terrace.
