Three Ronan golfers place in top 10
FRENCHTOWN — The Ronan golf team capitalized on a smaller field and placed a season-high three golfers in the top 10 at the Frenchtown Invitational.
Junior Alex Dulmes placed second in the meet shooting a 100, beating out golfers from both Frenchtown and Hamilton.
Kristin Likens and freshman Turquoise Haggard also broke into the top 10 for the first time, placing sixth and seventh, respectively, with scores of 120 and 122.
The boys struggled against a tough field. Sophomore Riley Dennis finished in the top 10 placing eighth with an 84. Ronan finished fourth overall with a team score of 398.
Saturday’s Hamilton Invitational saw Dennis finishing just out of the top ten with an 85.
Dulmes finished eighth shooting a 100 for the day.
In last Thursday’s Polson Invitational, Dulmes once again finished eight for the Maidens shooting another 100. The Ronan girls finished third behind Whitefish and Polson.
The Maidens only have five golfers, so all five will be competing in the divisional meet.

“The last three places are up for grabs. There are five or six golfers that could get those spots,”
