*The following district court proceedings took place Aug. 11.
-State of Montana vs. Ethan L. Maughn; 20. The matter before the Court is sentencing. PSI has been received and reviewed. For the offense of theft, Count I, a felony, the Court defers imposition of sentence for one year. For the offense of obscuring identity of machine, Count II, a misdemeanor, the Court defers imposition of sentence for one year and shall run concurrent with Count I and the Defendant shall spend seven days in the Lake County Jail within the next six months from today's date with credit for time served. The Court notes that there have been no days served at this time and the State concurs.
-State of Montana vs. Wesley Couture; 52 (Billings). The matter before the Court is sentencing. PSI has been received and reviewed. For the offense of driving under the influece of alcohol or drugs, fourth or subsequent offense, a felony, the Court commits the Defendant to the Montana State Prison for a period of forty years with twenty years suspended. Defendant must complete the Montana WATCH program before being considered for release on parole.

Driving without a valid driver's license - expired less than 180 days. Fined $200. Fail to notify owner after accident resulting in damage to prop/fixtures along hwy. Fined $200.
