4H-ers take home ribbons

KALISPELL — One week to the day, Lake County kids do it again.

Four participants, Kane Shenyer, Marissa Reber, and dog project leaders Karen Mcloed and Jan Thingelstad,  traveled to Kalispell  to participate in the Northwestern Montana Fair, open county dog show and 4-H show. With a few less kids then last year, they never the less represent Lake County in style.

Shenyer, 11, in his  second year in the dog project took Grand Champion, child class Rally, Red 4-H Novice Rally, Grand Champion 4-H Sub Novice Obedience, Grand Champion Open Class Sub Novice Obedience, 1st Blue 4-H Jr Showmanship.

Reber, 17, took Grand Champion Open Rally, Grand Champion Open Novice Obedience  (off lead), Grand Champion 4-H Novice Obedience (off lead), Reserve Champion 4-H Rally, Grand Champion 4-H Senior Showmanship.

Mcloed earned Grand Champion Open Novice A Obedience, Red in  Open Rally. 

Jan Thingelstad took  Grand Champion Open Novice B Obedience and Grand Champion Open Rally.
