Arlee
With Dale Duff: The time has been changed from 3 to 5 p.m. to 2 to 4 p.m. for the Arlee Senior Citizens Center Christmas dinner on Sat., Dec. 25, at the center. Also, make a note that the regularly scheduled Friday lunch on Dec. 24 has been cancelled. Please join us for turkey, ham potatoes and gravy, yams, rolls, fruit salad and pumpkin dessert with your choice of beverage. Happy Holidays to everyone!

With Linda Schoon: With Thanksgiving over with, it’s beginning to feel a lot like Christmas. Especially with all of the commercials and specials on television. It’s hard to believe that this year is nearly over with and a new one is almost here. Now, if it would just quit snowing, enough is enough! Since the center was closed on the last Friday in November, we had to move the birthday dinner up to Friday, Dec.
Please plan on joining us at noon for a great meal of roast beef. Our cooks have been doing a wonderful job, and you should come on in and enjoy the food with us.
Our monthly board meeting will be on Monday the 6th at 10 a.m., and the Veterans Rep will be here on Thursday the 9th from 1 to 3 p.m. Our monthly evening meal will also be on the 9th, from 5 until 6:30 that evening. We will be serving pork roast, and the public is invited to join us.
The next foot clinic is here at the Center form 10:30 until noon on Wednesday, Dec. 15. You don’t need to make an appointment for this, and there is always someone to visit with while you wait. The Ronan Center will be hosting the weekly card party at 7 p.m. on Monday the 20th.
Our menu for next week is: Fri. (3rd) is roast beef, Mon. (6th) is sausage and sauerkraut, Wed. (8th) is salmon loaf, Thurs. (9th) is roast pork, and Fri. (10th) is calico beans. Come in out of the snow and cold to join us for a nice hot meal and some fellowship. We play BINGO on Mondays and Fridays after lunch, and the pool table is always ready for use. Have a good week.

With Cathy Corrigan: I hope your Thanksgiving was wonderful and that you all over ate and enjoyed family and friends. The See’s candies are going fast, so if you are planning to give a box for the holidays you had better come in and get it. They come in one pound boxes. We have dark chocolate, assorted and nuts and chews.
Now for some card scores. Bridge scores for Nov. 19 were Joe Woodworth first and Win Baer second. Nov. 24 had Jack Rupe first and Marilyn Greiner second. This is all of the scores I have for this week. With the holiday we didn’t have too many days to play. Next week will be back to normal.
The luncheon menu: Thursday (12/2) meat loaf; Friday (12/3) sausage gravy; Monday (12/6) homemade chili; Tuesday (12/7) steak-n-gravy; Wednesday (12/8) spaghetti.
