Mission girls’ basketball

With 11 seconds remaining in regulation, senior Bella Dally stepped to the foul line.

At the Bulldog’s game last Friday, the senior had the chance to make her senior night close to perfect.

Hitting the second of her free throws, she made the score 32-30 for the win against Plains, a team ahead of the Bulldogs in the standings.

Senior Rachel Jenson and junior Adessa Durglo led with 12 points each.

Exhaustion from two overtimes might have played a part in the Bulldog’s 52-29 loss the next night against Thompson Falls.

Mission came out flat, scoring five points in the first eight minutes and down by 10 at the half.

Junior Kyla Mitchell led with 12 points.

Mission heads to its district tournament in Libby this weekend.
