Businesswomen's
network meeting
The Mission Valley sub-network of the Missoula Businesswomen's network will meet from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. on July 15 in the Polson City Library conference room. Guest speaker will be Judy Cook, Nouveau Riche.

Child safety seat
check-up
Buckle Up Montana will have Technicians available to provide on-site child safety seat inspections and education open from 10 a.m. to noon on July 15 at the Polson Fire Department. Installation will be reviewed for each child safety seat.

Annual rummage sale
The Lower Mission Valley PEO chapter will hold their annual rummage sale from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m on July 16 on the west side of Community Bank in Ronan, across from the City Park. Clothing, accessories, household items, books, games and miscellaneous items will be available. All proceeds from the sale will be used for PEO sponsored scholarships.
Scholarship yard sale
Zion Lutheran Childcare/Preschool is having a yard sale for its scholarship fund. The sale will be held at 35428 St. Ignatius Airport Road on July 16 and 17. It will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on July 16 and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on July 17.
If you would like to donate items for this sale you may call LaVonne Olmsted at 745-3423. No clothing items please, except for infant or toddler clothing. Donations will be greatly appreciated. If you would like additional information please call the above number.

Fiddling away
The Montana Old Time Fiddlers' Association will be playing from 1 to 3 p.m. on July 17 at the Miracle of America Museum.

Public meeting
A public meeting to receive comments is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on July 21 at the Polson Health Clinic building located at no. 5 4th Avenue East in Polson. Comments may be sent to Mr. Sid Rundell, Flathead Indian Reservation Fish and Wildlife Advisory Board Chairman, 406 6th Avenue East, Polson, MT, 59860.
Written comments will be accepted through 6:30 p.m. on July 21.
Polson centennial event
Stories from descendants of the first settlers: Ethel McAlear Montgomery and Oscar Baertsch will be presented in "The Early Years of Homesteaders Were Both Happy and Hard" at 7 p.m. on July 21 at the Polson Flathead Historical Museum.

Elks dance
Be cool at the hot summer nights at the community dance at the elks on July 21. Grab your favorite dance partner and join the fun to tunes by Heart to Heart. Bright summer dress is the fare and ballroom dancing is the venue.
You can always find a dance buddy. We will miss you if you are not there, but you will also miss a very fine time. Fun starts at 7:30 and goes until 11 p.m. Refreshments served, and requests welcomed.
