ST. IGNATIUS - The St. Ignatius Amphitheater saw 28 teams enter the Good Old Days 3-on-3 basketball tournament in search of glory on the court last Saturday in St. Ignatius.

"The tournament atmosphere was great," tournament director Steve Woll said.

Usually the tournament takes place during the Good Old Days celebration in St. Ignatius, but this year, it was its own attraction. The Cherry Festival in Polson and another basketball tournament in Missoula led to a smaller number of teams, but the courts were still full of players for the tournament.

"That was a little different," Woll said.

Parking spaces filled up quickly around the event, which also had a large inflatable slide to keep the little kiddies entertained.

"It was still great basketball, it was a great tournament and we had great referees," Woll said.
