Masumola Club

meeting

The Masumola Club meeting will be held June 10, at the Clubhouse. The social gathering begins at 5:45 p.m., barbeque at 6:30 p.m. and program at 7 p.m. The program will feature Christi Buffington discussing the activities of the Flathead Lakers.

Project WILD

Educators are invited to get out and go wild at the National Bison Range.

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and the Montana Department of Fish, Wildlife and Parks will present a Project WILD workshop from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on June 11 at the Bison Range. An additional Family Adventure session is scheduled for Saturday, June 12, from 9 a.m. to noon.

Native pollinators

For those who would like to spend more time at the Refuge and learn a bit about our Native Pollinators, take advantage of our Family Activity Day on June 12.

Finley Point Fire open house

The Montecahto Club will be having a bake sale and a rummage sale in conjunction with the Finley Point Volunteer Fire Department Open House from noon to 6 p.m. on June 12, across from Ricciardi's near mile marker six. It will include a pork bar-b-que, a Jaws of Life demonstration, a Mission Valley Power demonstration, a dunking tank, a silent auction, and games and prizes for the kids.

CPR classes

Take two hours out of your life to learn how to save one from 8 to 10 a.m., 10 a.m. to noon, 1 to 3 p.m. or 3 to 5 p.m on June 12 and 14. Call 883-8456 for more information.

Puppet show

A 30-minute family puppet show will be presented at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 12 in the Polson City Library meeting room. "Magic in the Air" will be performed by Sherry Johns, a puppeteer who has been entertaining Montana audiences for more than 20 years.

Young Eagles fly in

The Lake County Chapter 1122 of the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) will be hosting Young Eagles Flights at Polson Airport at 9 a.m. on June 12.

All kids between the ages of 8 and 17, with their parents' approval, can get a ride in an airplane free of charge.

Breakfast will be available from 8 until 11 a.m., weather permitting.

Reading programs

The Make a Splash at your Library Family Summer Reading Program for Ronan City Library and D'Arcy McNickle Library begins on June 14.

Participants may register any time after June 14 at either library.

Pablo story times will be Wednesdays from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the D'Arcy McNickle Library.

Ronan story times will be Thursdays from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Ronan City Library.

Fitness Camp

New Life Christian Center is offering a fun and free fitness camp for kids three years old through sixth grade. The camp will be from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. each Wednesday for seven weeks, June 16 through July 28. Call Jon at 883-2447 for more information.

Elks dance

Western night is the theme for the dance from 7:30 p.m. until 11 p.m. on June 16 at the Elks Club.

Free seminars

John Espy, PhD, and Treasa Glinnwater, MSW, are offering free seminars on mental health topics.
