*The following district court proceeding took place June 23.
-State of Montana vs. David Okland; 49. The matter before the Court is change of plea. Defendant admits committing the offense of driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, fourth or subsequent offense, a felony. The Court makes its findings, accepts the plea and finds the Defendant guilty of the charge. PSI ordered. Sentencing is set for July 28 at 9 a.m.

*The following district court proceedings took place June 24.
-State of Montana vs. Waleya Rossbach; 32. The matter before the Court is sentencing. PSI has been received and reviewed. For the offense of criminal possession of dangerous drugs, Count I, a felony, the Court commits the Defendant to the Department of Corrections for a period of five years with three years suspended with credit for time served.
-State of Montana vs. Daniel O’Roake; 22. The matter before the Court is omnibus hearing. Attorney Robert Long requests a continuance of six weeks to finalize interviews of witnesses. No objection by the State. The Court grants a five weeks continuance to July 29. This matter is continued to July 29 at 9 a.m.
-State of Montana vs. Marc Friscia; 21. The matter before the Court is omnibus hearing. Defendant admits committing the offense of tampering with or fabricating physical evidence, a felony, Count I. The Court makes its findings, accepts the plea and finds the Defendant guilty of the charge. PSI ordered. Sentencing is set for August 5 at 9 a.m.

-Medina, Jorge, 29. Careless Driving. Fined $50. Failure to carry proof or exhibit insurance in vehicle - third or subsequent offense. Fined $450 and 180 days in jail with 175 suspended. Driving without a valid drivers license - expired less than 180 days. Fined $250. Seatbelt violation, Operating a vehicle which has not been properly registered. Fined $50.
-Buys, Bryan C.; 34. Reckless driving. Fined $300 and 90 days in jail with 90 days suspended.
-Pelican, Thomas N.; 53. Violation of a protective order - first offense. Fined $300 and 74 days in jail with 46 suspended.
-Hanson, James R.; 48. Failure to follow conditions and requirements of special permit. Fined $100.
-Acosta, Aaron R.; 20. Driving a motor vehicle while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked. Fined $250.
-King, Earleen T.; 60. Selling or providing alcoholic beverages to person under 21 years. Fined $150 and 180 days in jail with 180 days suspended.
-Muller, Jeffrey, 47. Improper passing in no-passing zone. Fined $50.
