All-star game
Thirty Lake County basketball players will participate in the 2010 Mission Mountain All-star game on March 26 at SKC. The girls will play at 7 p.m. and the boys will follow at 8:30 p.m.

Class B all-conference picks
Mission seniors Jorren Gies and Jake Durglo were voted second team all-conference after the district 7B tournament.

Class C all-state and all-conference girls picks
Charlo sophomore Kinley Pope was named to the Class C all-state basketball team. Charlo senior Stephanie Maughan was named an honorable mention.
Maughan and Pope were also named to the district 14C first team all-conference.
Arlee senior Chelsea Allaire, Arlee freshman Mahalia Hendren, Two Eagle River senior Jaylen Carpentier and Charlo senior Jaris Kelley were named to second team all-conference.
Two Eagle River senior Adele Frost was an honorable mention.

Class C all-state and all-conference boys picks
Arlee senior Kyle Felsman was named to the Class C all-state boys basketball team. Charlo junior Chance Rosenbaum and Charlo senior Houston Blevins were named honorable mentions.

5-on-5 tournament
A 5-on-5, one-day tournament will be held on Saturday, March 27 at the Ronan Event center for 5-6th and 7-8th boys and girls. There is a three-game guarantee and a $125 entry fee. March Meltdown
The 2010 March Meltdown will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 13, at the Polson Sports Complex. There will be 5K and 10K races. Registration opens at 9 a.m. and all participants are eligible for the random prize drawing.
Proceeds from this event will be donated along with Haiti relief efforts from the Polson schools.

Polson spring sports meeting
Polson High School will have a spring sports parent and athlete meeting Sunday, March 14 in the high school auditorium. If a student has not participated in a PHS activity this school year, the meeting will begin at 7:00 p.m. The meeting will start at 7:30 p.m. for all students who will be participating in a spring sport. Both a parent and the athlete must attend the meeting.

Mission Valley Mariner Baseball Spring Tailgate will be held at 6 p.m. on Saturday, March 20, featuring a tri-tip dinner and silent auction. For tickets of more information call 883-5135 or any Mariner.

Buttercup run
On March 27, the annual Buttercup Run start for the 1Mile Fun Run, 5K, and 10 K, a fundraiser for support of the "Friends of Arlee School, Inc." projects will be held. Medals and prizes will be awarded, and a great shirt designed with local art provided to all registered, participants. Youth softball coaches needed
Coaches needed for Ronan-Pablo Youth Softball Association 2010 season, with the large number of girls interested in softball we have grown once again and predict two more teams added to our association this year. We are looking for anyone interested in joining our team to help coach, assistant coach, help with concessions and ground maintenance. RPYSA is a non-profit organization who is committed to providing a positive team building experience for young girls in our community.
