5-on-5 tournament

A 5-on-5, one-day tournament will be held March 27 at the Ronan Event Center for 5-6th and 7-8th boys and girls. There is a three-game guarantee and a $125 entry fee. Gies and Durglo head to Billings

Mission seniors Jake Durglo and Jorren Gies are heading to Billings this weekend for the 21st annual Crown Plaza Senior Classic, showcasing the state's top senior basketball players. The first game for the duo is 5:30 p.m. tonight against the Class AA central.

Rausch selected for senior classic

Polson senior Tim Rausch was selected for the 21st annual Crown Plaza Senior Classic this weekend in Billings. He is on the Northern A team with Whitefish's Austin Green and Connor Silliker. Columbia Falls' Mitchell Wassam, Kyle Howell and Michael Williams and Plains' Brian Green.

Felsman invited to classic

Arlee senior Kyle Felsman was invited to participate in the Crown Plaza Senior Classic this weekend in Billings.

Ronan flag football

Sign-ups for the Ronan flag football league are March 22 and 24. There are three different leagues, Kindegarten through first grade, second and third grade combined and fourth and fifth grade combined. Games start on March 29. On game nights, practice is held from 6- 6:30 p.m. followed by a game at 6:30 p.m. to 7:15.

Buttercup run

On Saturday, March 27, the annual Buttercup Run will be held at Arlee High School. At 10 a.m. is registration with 10K walkers starting at 10:30 a.m. and the mile, 5k and 10K starting at 11 a.m.

The Buttercup run is used for a fundraiser for projects of the "Friends of Arlee School, Inc."

Youth softball coaches needed

Coaches are needed for the Ronan-Pablo Softball Association 2010 season. With the large number of girls interested in softball, we have grown once again and predict two more teams added to our association this year. We are looking for anyone interested in joining our team to help coach, assistant coach, help with concessions and ground maintenance. RPYSA is non-profit organization that is committed to providing a positive team building experiences for young girls in our community.
