St. Ignatius center plans rummage sale
The St. Ignatius Senior Citizens Center will hold its annual rummage and bake sale May 4-8. The hours of the sale will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily. The bake sale will be conducted on Friday, May 7. Anyone wanting to donate items for the rummage sale may do so by dropping by the center at 312 North Main or by calling the center.
This Friday, April 2, light entertainment will accompany the Easter lunch. AARP Volunteer Kaye Stam will again be in the center to help seniors with their tax returns on Tuesday, April 6.
The senior center recently received a $250 donation from the Dennis and Phyllis Washington Foundation on behalf of Irma Bernal Pope. Pope, a Montana Rail Link dispatcher was awarded the $250 through the Pay It Forward 2010 program. Pope, who has been helpful to the center in the past, said that the donation to the center is "a way to give back to the community." One of the projects the donation will be used for is getting air conditioning installed in the center's kitchen.

Ronan senior news
Well, here we are into April already. It is so nice that the flowers are starting to bloom and the grass is beginning to "green-up."
Our monthly birthday dinner was last Friday, and we had 88 people join us for lunch. We also delivered 15 meals to various homes. If you would like meals delivered, please call and see if you qualify. Our number is 676-2371 and we are open on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 8 a.m. until about 3 p.m.
If you need help with your taxes, there is still time to get them done here at the center. We have appointments open for April 2 and April 9. Give us a call, and we will schedule an appointment for you.
Our next board meeting is at 10 a.m. on Monday, April 5, and our next evening meal (chicken) is from 5-6:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 8. The veteran's rep. will be here that same day from 1-3 p.m. in the afternoon. The next card game in Ronan will be at 7 p.m. on April 19. The foot clinic will be here at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 28. You don't need an appointment.
We hope that Larry is on the mend from surgery, and that Lyle is up and out of the hospital.
Come in and join us for lunch and visit with your old friends, or make some new ones. Have a good week.

We are happy to report that Wanda is doing very well and is getting stronger every day. She wanted all to know that she appreciates all the cards and calls and says that she will be back before you know it.
There are only 15 days left to get your taxes done. If you still need an appointment, give us a call at 883-4735.
Now for some card scores. The bridge scores for March 23 had Ken Schuba first and Betty Schuba second. For March 26 bridge, we had Euva Johns first and John Lowell second.
