Polson's Daisy Girl Scout Troop #3327 gave back to the community by donating a portion of their cookie sales to the Mission Valley Animal Shelter. The girls were working towards earning a petal for making the world a better place and they were encouraged by troop leaders Tessa Hupka and Kelly Heiser to come up with ideas on how they could give back to their community. All the girls wanted to help the animals in the valley. So seven of the 11 girls went to Wal-Mart and purchased around $300 worth of dog food, cat food, litter, laundry soap, dish soap, tissues and cat and dog toys for the animals. It was a great day for all the animals and for the Daisy girls.
