It's officially unofficial, an impressive 68% voter turnout in Lake County put to bed a controversial election season in Lake County. Jay Doyle won the position of Lake County Sheriff with 38% of voters' support.

Unofficial Lake County general election results:

Voter turnout: 67.96%

Sheriff: Jay Doyle 38%; Steve Kendley 35%; Dan Yonkin 26%

House District No. 12: Dan Salomon 53%; John Fleming 47%

House District No. 11: Janna Taylor 73%; Cheryl Wolfe 27%

County Commissioner: Ann Smith Brower 96%

County clerk and recorder: Paula Holle 96%

County attorney: Mitchell Young 94%

County superintendent of schools: Gale Decker 97%
