*The following district court proceedings took place Oct. 20.

-State of Montana vs. Mandy Moran; 29. The matter before the Court is arraignment. Ready to enter plea, Defendant pleads not guilty to the charge of assault on a peace officer, a felony. The plea is entered and the case will be set for trial. Defendant remains at liberty. The Court sets this matter for omnibus hearing on Dec. 22 at 9 a.m. The Court executes a trial setting order setting this matter for trial on March 14, 2011.

*The following district court proceedings took place Oct. 21.

-State of Montana vs. Paul Ross Pendery; 21. The matter before the Court is arraignment. Ready to enter plea, Defendant pleads not guilty to the charges of criminal possession of dangerous drugs, a felony, Count I, operating with expired registration - failure to reregister, a misdemeanor, Count II, and operating a vehicle without making application for transfer of registration, a misdemeanor, Count III. The plea is entered and the case will be set for trial. The Defendant remains at liberty. The Court indicates that parties are to complete the omnibus hearing and pre-trial order and submit it to the Clerk of Courts office to be sent to Judge Cybulski so that he can set this matter for trial.

-State of Montana vs. James Wasson; 22. The matter before the Court is arraignment. Ready to enter plea, Defendant pleads not guilty to the charge of burglary, a felony, Count I. The plea is entered and the case will be set for trial. The Defendant remains at liberty. The Court sets this matter for omnibus hearing on Dec. 23 at 9 a.m. and for jury trial on Feb. 7, 2011.

-Fisher, Kendall D.; 22. Driving without a valid driver’s license - expired less than 180 days. Fined $250 and 180 days in jail with 180 days suspended.

-West, Dennis P.; 59. Driving a motor vehicle while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked. Fined $450 and 180 days in jail with 170 day suspended. Operating without liability insurance in effect - first offense. Fined $350 and 10 days in jail with eight suspended.

-Weingart, Ty R.; 36. Operating with alcohol concentration of 0.08 percent BAC or greater - first offense. Fined $400.

-Acevedo, Jennifer; 34. Fail to carry proof or exhibit/insurance in vehicle - first offense. Fined $350 and 10 days in jail with eight days suspended. Provide proof of valid insurance by Dec. 1 and six month continuous proof and jail waived. Fail to carry proof or exhibit insurance in vehicle - second offense. Fined $450 and 180 days in jail with 175 days suspended. Provide proof of valid insurance by Dec. 1 and proof of six months continuous insurance and three days jail waived.

-Bautista, Fabian A.; 22. Fail to carry proof or exhibit insurance in vehicle - second offense. Fined $350. Driving without a valid driver’s license - expired more than 180 days. Fined $100.  Driving without a valid driver’s license - expired less than 180 days. Fined $200 and 180 days in jail with 175 days suspended. Provide proof of valid driver’s license by Nov. 18 and jail reduced to three days. Driving without a valid driver’s license - expired less than 180 days. Fined $300 and 180 days in jail with 170 days suspended. Provide proof of valid driver’s license by Nov. 18 and fine reduced by $100 and jail waived. Driving without a valid driver’s license - expired less than 180 days. Fined $400 and 180 days in jail with 160 days suspended. Provide proof of valid driver’s license by Nov. 18 and fine reduced to $235 and jail waived.

-Forrette, Melissa N.; 19. Operating with alcohol concentration of 0.08 percent BAC or great - first offense. Fined $400 and 10 days in jail with 10 days suspended.

-Braddock, Mark A.; 59. Operating with alcohol concentration of 0.08 percent BAC or greater - first offense. Fined $400 and 10 days in jail with 10 days suspended.

-Stanley, Brenton M.; 24. Criminal possession of drug paraphernalia. Fined $100 and 180 days in jail with 180 days suspended.

-Cagley, Spiros D.; 33. Reckless driving. Fined $300 and 90 days in jail with 89 days suspended. Credit for one day served.

-Williams, Michael R.; 18. Possessing intoxicating substances while under the age of 21 (over age 18) - first offense. Fined $100.

-Ogren, Jered D.; 29. Speeding - exceed restricted/special zone speed limit established by department. Fined $65.

Arrested on site for an out of county warrant, a misdemeanor; possession of dangerous drugs, a felony; possession of drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor; resisting arrest, a misdemeanor; driving while suspended or revoked, a violation; basic rule, a misdemeanor; and DUI, a felony.

-Schlemmer, Timothy E.; 45. Arrested on site for no proof of liability insurance, a violation; and DUI, a misdemeanor.
