Engagements

Barry and Shirley Baker of Ronan are

proud to announce the engagement of their daughter, Kristy Baker of

Sherwood Ore. to Jay Harwell son of Charles and Susan Harwell of

Beaverton, Ore. A Dec. 4 wedding in Portand is planned. A wedding

reception at Mission Mountain Country Club will follow on Dec. 31.

Jay works with the Veterans Administration and Kristy is a

psychologist in private practice. The couple plan to live in

Sherwood, Ore.

Boyd and Shelley Frame, of Charlo, are

pleased to announce the engagement and wedding of their daughter,

Shantell Anne Frame, to Robert Joseph Martin, son of Dan Martin of

Helena and Sharon Martin of Rapid City, SD. The bride is a graduate

of the University of Montana-Western with a Bachelor of Arts degree

in literature and writing and pre-law and is currently working on

her master’s degree in Rangeland Ecosystem Science from Colorado

State University. The groom is a graduate of North Dakota State

College of Science with a degree in diesel technology and is

employed with the Department of Defense at Fort Harrison in Helena.

He is currently deployed with the Montana Army National Guard

1-163rd Combined Arms Battalion in support of Operation New Dawn,

currently stationed at Camp Shelby, Miss. and will depart for Iraq

in November. A formal wedding ceremony will take place in Sept.

2011 upon Robert’s safe arrival back to Montana.
