*The following district court proceedings took place Oct. 13.

-State of Montana vs. Grady Turner; 20. The matter before the Court is sentencing. The Court defers imposition of sentence for three years.

-State of Montana vs. Jacob Mitchell; 30. The matter before the Court is arraignment. Ready to enter plea, Defendant pleads not guilty to the charges of criminal possession of dangerous drugs, a felony, Count I; criminal possession of drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor, Count II; and driving while license is suspended or revoked, a misdemeanor, Count III. The plea is entered and the case will be set for trial. Defendant remains at liberty. Omnibus hearing is set for Dec. 8 at 9 a.m. The Court executes a trial setting order setting this matter for trial on March 7, 2011 at 9 a.m.

-Collier, Dalton L.; 20. Possessing intoxicating substances while under the age of 21 (over age 18) - first offense. Fined $100.

-May, Donald W.; 44. Driving under the influence of alcohol - first offense. Fined $500 and 180 days in jail with 179 suspended.

-Bertsch, Donald J.; 41. Operating without liability insurance in effect - third or subsequent offense. Fined $450 and 180 days in jail with 175 days suspended. Provide proof of six months continuous insurance and three days jail waived. 10/15/10 - two days jail completed.

-Preuss, Travis D.; 22. Operating without liability insurance in effect - third or subsequent offense. Fined $500 and 180 days in jail with 170 days suspended.

-Ostler, Darrel S.; 36. Violation of commission or department orders or rules. Fined $300.

-Pier, Kasey A.; 20. Possessing intoxicating substances while under the age of 21 (over age 18) - first offense. Fined $100.

-Parnell, Ronald M.; 27. Driving without a valid driver’s license - expired more than 180 days. Fined $250 and 180 days in jail with 180 days suspended.
