*The following district court proceedings took place Aug. 25.
-State of Montana vs. Adrian McElderry; 28. The matters before the Court are sentencing. PSI has been received and reviewed. The parties agree the Defendant shall have 60 days to pay the restitution amount yet to be determined. In DC-10-14, for the offense of assault with a weapon, Count I, a felony, the Court defers imposition of sentence for three years. In DC-10-36, for the offense of criminal endangerment, Count II, a felony, the Court commits the Defendant to the Lake County Jail for the period of one year with all suspended but 30 days. The Defendant shall have seven months to complete the MAP program and upon successful completion the time committed to the LCJ will be deferred. The PSI shows a total of three days served at this time. The sentence in DC-10-14 shall run concurrent with the sentence in DC-10-36/
-State of Montana vs. Monica Green; 32. The matter before the Court is arraignment. Ready to enter plea, Defendant pleads not guilty to the charges of criminal distribution of dangerous drugs, a felony. The plea is entered and the case will be set for trial. The Defendant remains at liberty. The Court sets this matter for omnibus hearing on Sept. 29 at 9 a.m.
-State of Montana vs. Dolly Evans; 33. The matter before the Court is arraignment. Ready to enter plea, Defendant pleads not guilty to the charges of criminal possession of dangerous drugs, a felony. The plea is entered and the case will be set for trial. The Defendant remains at liberty. The Court sets this matter for omnibus hearing on Sept. 29 at 9 a.m.
-State of Montana vs. Jana Marie Baker; 34. The matter before the Court is arraignment. Ready to enter plea, Defendant pleads not guilty to the charges of vehicular homicide while under the influence, a felony. The plea is entered and the case will be set for trial. The Defendant remains at liberty. The Court sets this matter for omnibus hearing on Oct. 20 at 9 a.m.
-State of Montana vs. Sean Deranleau; 30. The matter before the Court is omnibus hearing. Defendant admits committing the offense of driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, fourth or subsequent offense, a felony, Count I. The Court makes its findings, advises that Count II is dismissed, accepts the plea and finds the Defendant guilty of the charge. PSI ordered. Sentencing is set for Sept. 29 at 9 a.m.
-State of Montana vs. Randall Joe Michel; 23. The matter before the Court is omnibus hearing. The Court advises that this case has been dismissed based upon State's Motion to dismiss.
-State of Montana vs. Eric Moulton; 33. The matter before the Court is answer petition to revoke. Attorney Caroline Riss indicates that the Defendant will be making admissions. Defendant makes admissions. The Court finds the State provided sufficient evidence to support the petition and revokes the Defendant's suspended sentence. Sentencing is set for Sept. 22 at 9 a.m.
-State of Montana vs. Jessie McDonald; 29. The matter before the Court is answer petition to revoke. Attorney Nicole Ducheneaux indicates the Defendant will be making admissions. The Defendant makes admissions. The Court finds the State provided sufficient evidence to support the petition and revokes the Defendant's suspended sentence. Sentencing is set for Sept. 1 at 9 a.m.

-State of Montana vs. Vincente Laroche; 31. The matter before the Court is change of plea. Defendant admits committing the offense of negligent endangerment, Count III and IV, misdemeanors. The Court makes its findings, accepts the plea and finds the Defendant guilty of the charges. Parties are prepared for sentencing. For the offense of negligent endangerment, misdemeanors, Count III and IV, the Court commits the Defendant to the LCJ for a term of one year deferred in addition, the Defendant is to serve 10 days on Count III in the LCJ and one year deferred on Count IV, to run consecutively. Jail time shall be served on house arrest and must be completed within six months of today's date. All other items not forfeited by the Defendant are to be returned to the Defendant.
-State of Montana vs. David Langan; 28. The matter before the Court is arraignment. Ready to enter plea, Defendant pleads not guilty to the charge of burglary, a felony, Count I, theft, a felony, Count II, burglary, a felony, Count III, theft, a misdemeanor, Count IV, and money laundering, a felony, Count V. The plea is entered and the case
will be set for trial. The Defendant remains in custody. The Court reserves the right to the Defendant for a bond hearing at a later date. The Court sets this matter for omnibus hearing on Sept. 9 at 9 a.m.
-State of Montana vs. Ben Hoffman IV; 34. The matter before the Court is arraignment. Prosecutor Cory Allen indicates that the parties have reached a plea agreement. Defendant admits committing the offense of issuing a bad check, a felony. The Court makes its findings, accepts the plea and finds the Defendant guilty of the charge. PSI ordered. Sentencing or status conference is set for Sept. 30 at 9 a.m.
-State of Montana vs. Andrew Ostrander; 19. The matter before the Court is arraignment. Ready to enter plea, Defendant pleads not guilty to the charge of criminal endangerment, a felony, Count I and II, driving under the influence of alcohol, a misdemeanor, Count III, and operating a motor vehicle with a BAC of 0.08 percent or more, a misdemeanor, Count IV. The plea is entered and the case will be set for trial. The Defendant remains at liberty. The Court sets this matter for omnibus hearing on Sept. 23 at 9 a.m.

Approximately $ 3300.00 dollars of merchandise was collected prior to suspects exiting the store through the garden center, cutting the lock off a gate.
