Mission Football to have field goal competition

The Mission Football team will have a field goal kicking contest with a $100 prize at halftime during the Mission vs. Boulder game at 7 p.m. this Friday in St. Ignatius.

John Robertson is still holding his third place position in Team Roping (Heeler) of the PRCA Montana Circuit Standings for the year.

Larson competes at

Denver Cup Tournament

Sophomore James Larson, of Polson, recently competed in the Denver Cup Soccer Tournament on Aug. 4-8 with the Montana United U-17 all-star team. Montana completed the tournament with a 3-1 record. Larson had one goal and three assists. They lost to eventual champion Colorado Pride. Montana missed out on the championship game on a one goal differential tiebreaker and ended up with third place.

Polson senior Sean Hart is also a member of the team and competed in earlier tournaments.
