POLSON AND RONAN — Board members of the Boys and Girls Club of the Flathead Reservation and Lake County were greeted with a special gift during their March meeting this month. A representative from HealthCare Plus in Polson, Jaqulyn Christensen, gave each unit two fully-stocked First Aid kits.

“What a great gift,” director John Schnase said. “Now we can feel secure that we have those available on site at both locations and on the field trips we occasionally take.”

The kits came with instructions on replenishing supplies and are contained in metal cases so they can be wall-mounted in the most convenient locations. HealthCare Plus has been a consistent sponsor for many club functions and a donor to the club since its charter over ten years ago. Owner, Vickee Siemers is a former member of the board of directors. The new kit was one of four presented to the club at the March board meeting at KwaTaqNuk.
