Lake County District Court, Judge Christopher presiding

*The following district court cases took place August 4.

- State of Montana vs. Wesley Uhde; This matter before the court for change of plea. Defendant admits committing the offense of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, a felony. The court makes its findings, accepts the plea and finds the defendant guilty of  the charge. Sentencing is set for Thursday, Sept. 8, 9 a.m.

- State of Montana vs. James Afterbuffalo; This matter before the court for answer petition to revoke. The court finds the state provided sufficient evidence to support the petition and revokes the defendant’s suspended sentence. For the offense of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, a felony, the court commits the defendant to DOC for two years and would recommend defendant be placed at MASC and with recommendations to connections corrections and prerelease if determined to be appropriate by the DOC. Previous conditions are reimposed.

Lake County District Court, Judge McNeil presiding

*The following district court case took place August 3.

- State of Montana vs. Jimmy Graham; This matter before the court for arraignment. Ready to enter plea, defendant pleads not guilty to the charge of criminal possession of dangerous drugs, a felony. The plea is entered and the case will be set for trial. The defendant remains at liberty. The court sets this matter for omnibus hearing Oct. 19, 9 a.m. with a jury trial commencing Dec. 5, 9 a.m.

- State of Montana vs. Bradley Noble; This matter before the court for arraignment. Information has been received and reviewed. Ready to enter plea, defendant pleads not guilty to the charges of driving under the influence of alcohol, fourth or subsequent offense, a felony, count I; and riving while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked, a misdemeanor, count II. The plea is entered and the case will be set for trial. Defendant is currently in custody on bond set in the amount of $1,000 with SCRAM and requests bond be lowered to an O/R release. The court denies defendant’s request for reduction in bond. The court sets this matter for omnibus hearing Sept. 7, 9 a.m. with a jury trial commencing Dec. 5, 9 a.m.

Justice Court, Judge Wall presiding

*The following justice court proceedings took place July 29 - Aug. 4.

- McAfee, Richard L.; 29. Driving under the influence of alcohol – second offense. Fined $600 and 180 days in jail with 173 days suspended.

- Starratt, Christopher A.; 45. Fined $300 and 90 days in jail with 89 days suspended. Credit 12 hours served; completed Aug. 1.

- Hanks, April M.; 37. Fail to carry proof or exhibit/insurance in vehicle – owner or operator – second offense. Fined $350 and 10 days in jail with eight days suspended. Provide proof of six months continuous insurance on Jan. 29, 2012 and jail waived.

- Cook, Joshua D.; 27. Criminal possession of dangerous drugs – marijuana (60 grams or less) – second offense. Fined $200 and 180 days in jail with 180 days suspended. Criminal possession of drug paraphernalia. Fined $200 and 180 days in jail with 180 days suspended. Operating without liability insurance in effect – second offense. Fined $350 and 10 days in jail with eight days suspended. Provide proof of insurance and proof of six months continuous coverage and jail waived.

- Jennison, Leonard S.; 35. Driving a motor vehicle while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked. Fined $250 and 180 days in jail with 178 days suspended. Provide proof of valid drivers license by Aug. 8 and jail waived.

- Fitzpatrick, Dustan W.; 31. Arrested on site for PFMA – reasonable apprehension, a misdemeanor.

- Angell, James K.; 46. Arrested on site for PFMA – minor injury/physical contact, a misdemeanor.

- Bystrom-Johnson, True Wisdom; 31. Arrested on site for DUI drugs or alcohol, a misdemeanor.

- Duell, Mariah M.; 18. Arrested on site for PFMA – minor injury or physical contact, a misdemeanor.

- Philbrick, Kenneth G.; 62. Arrested on site for DUI drugs or alcohol, a misdemeanor.

- Wetherington, Anthony J.; Arrested on site for disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor.

- Boushie, Billie L.; 26. Arrested on a warrant for out of county.

- Hauck, Timothy C.; 44. Arrested on site for DUI drugs or alcohol, a misdemeanor.
