Roger Guthrie

Roger Guthrie, 63, of Polson, passed away Aug. 4, at St. Patrick Hospital, Missoula, from cancer. He was born on March 23, 1948 in Minot, N.D. to Burnette and James Guthrie.

Roger graduated from high school in Willow City, N.D. and attended college at Minot State. He was a member of the Teamsters and delivered bread products for companies including Holmstead and Interstate. Roger enjoyed playing cards and shopping for collectables and antiques.

He is survived by a sister, Mary (Charles) Weingarten, Grand Forks, N.D. and brothers, Edward (Paulette), South Padre Island, Texas and James (Jeannene), Polson. He was preceded in death by his parents. A private gathering will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to a local Humane Society. Arrangements by Cremation and Burial Society of the Rockies.
