Boys and Girls Club summer activities end Aug. 19

The Boys and Girls Club will take a short break to upgrade the facilities at both sites and pre-plan the strategies in serving club members for the rest of the school year. Aug. 22-26, the club sites will both be closed to members while staff repairs, cleans and rearranges the program rooms and equipment. They will also be developing strategies to improve the homework help times and other regularly scheduled club programs.

After school club hours will resume as usual from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. every weekday. The exceptions will be school P.I.R. days or early out days when the clubs will be open from noon until 6 p.m. The schedule will be posted on the Boys and Girls Club website, www.bgclynx.org.
