MISSION BOYS BBALL ROUNDUP: Florence outpaces Mission

FLORENCE - Dylan Evans and Stuart Grant combined for just over

half of the Mission Bulldogs' points, but it wasn't enough as they

fell on the road to Florence 63-47 on Tuesday, Dec. 20.

Evans and Grant each scored 12 points, while Jarred Smith Brown

added nine and Nikko Alexander five for the Bulldogs (2-3).

FLORENCE - Dylan Evans and Stuart Grant combined for just over half of the Mission Bulldogs' points, but it wasn't enough as they fell on the road to Florence 63-47 on Tuesday, Dec. 20.

Evans and Grant each scored 12 points, while Jarred Smith Brown added nine and Nikko Alexander five for the Bulldogs (2-3).

Mission, once again, led after the first quarter, this time 14-11, but a 20-8 second-quarter spurt by the Falcons put the Bulldogs in a 31-22 hole at halftime.

Mission outscored Florence 17-16 in the third quarter to cut the deficit to eight at 47-39, but another big period for the Falcons, this time 16-8, ended any chance of a Bulldog rally.

Austin Durglo scored four points in the loss, while Paden Alexander, with three and Patrick Eichart, with two, accounted for the rest of Mission's scoring on the evening.

The Bulldogs will look to bounce back on Tuesday, Jan. 3 against Bigfork.
